JOB DESCRIPTION:
The work will include;
1. Working under the direction of a team captain
2. Ensuring that quality standards, budgets and delivery times are met
3. Setting up and taking down assembly lines for specific projects
4. Programming and setting up printers, pick and place machines and reflow oven
5. Setting up lines for manual thru hole component assembly
6. Operating printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, VCD machines, wave solder machines, selective solder machines, AOI machines and other SMT assembly equipment.
7. Carrying out visual inspection of assembled boards.
8. Manually soldering boards and repairing defective boards
9. Taking part in our program of continuous improvement, by reviewing assembly procedures and helping to stream line them.
10. Participating in our lean manufacturing 5S program
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
A post secondary education at a college
We will provide additional training in SM technology and operation and programming of the machines
THE FOLLOWING SKILLS WILL BE AN ASSET.
IPC A 610 board inspection training
JSTD 001 training
SMTA SMT process engineering training
Work experience as an SMT assembly line leader
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
