Description General Position Overview The principal focus of this position will be: Meet specified labor standards Be able to work as a team without disruptions Be able to interact with all types of people in a professional and respectful manner Adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Essential Job Functions Demonstrates SoundOff Signal Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers. Able to operate the following types of equipment Stencil printer SM placement equipment Offline loading station and systems Reflow oven equipment Inspect board assemblies. Operate the line to prescribed production run rates. Perform line changeovers between production runs. Able to perform all aspects of setups, including receiving of incoming reels. Proficient and ability to solder add on components. Able to maintain productivity while working alone. High individual level of quality, with proven contributions to the overall department quality. Have a thorough understanding of all SoundOff Signal policies, procedures, and systems. Able to read/understand and follow SoundOff Signal Work Instructions. Maintain a clean work environment. Fully cross trained in all areas of their department and learn builds within other departments as customer demands and changing business needs dictate. Regularly rotates to all necessary jobs within the work cell if applicable. Able to perform job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High School Diploma. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Manufacturing environment, machine operation experience preferred. Basic math skills. Basic knowledge of PC window based programs. Ability to successfully communicate internally as well as outside contacts. Ability to understand and glean information from data sheets. Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision. Detail oriented. Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 35 lbs. Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift. Must be able to accurately handle and assemble small parts. Working Conditions Light manufacturing environment Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting Required to work shift hours (four 10-hour days) with occasional overtime Schedule Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:00pm; occasional overtime on Fridays
Responsibilities
Operate SMT equipment including stencil printers and reflow ovens to meet production run rates and labor standards. Perform line changeovers, board inspections, and component soldering while maintaining a clean work environment.
