Job Purpose The Snack Bar Cook is responsible for preparing simple food and beverage items for golfers and guests in a fast-paced snack bar environment. This position focuses on providing friendly service while preparing menu items such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, breakfast items, and grab-and-go offerings according to established standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, follows food safety guidelines, and takes pride in delivering quality food quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities * Prepare and serve simple food items according to established recipes and portion standards * Cook menu items using grills, ovens, fryers, microwaves, or other snack bar equipment * Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other grab-and-go offerings * Stock food, beverage, and supply inventory throughout the shift * Ensure food is properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness * Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation standards * Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area * Assist with receiving and storing deliveries * Restock condiments, utensils, beverages, and snack items as needed * Provide friendly and efficient service to guests * Follow all Company, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * Previous food service, snack bar, quick-service restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred * Strong customer service skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures * Basic math and cash handling skills preferred * Must be able to communicate effectively in English * Food Handler Certification, where required by law Working Conditions * Days and hours of work vary based on business needs and operating schedules * Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time * Regularly required to use hands, reach, bend, stoop, lift, and carry items * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds * Work may be performed in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures * Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus American Golf Corporation is committed to equal employment opportunities for all.
