Description

Job purpose This role performs duties and tasks related to the rough grinding for castings Duties and responsibilities * Rough grind castings to remove gates * Identify cold pour and mis-runs (excessive scrap) * Communicate status and issues with: * First time runs * Wheel Usage * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * High Diploma or GED * Ability to read work instructions and operating procedures for various machines and parts * Strong personal organizational and time management skills with attention to detail * Ability to do basic math for counting parts * Previous experience with Heat Treat Working conditions * May be exposed to industrial oils, toner, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals * Foundry Environment * Could work in areas with excessive noise * Exposure to fumes Physical requirements * Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds * Standing for extended periods of time * Physical agility to move quickly, climb ladders * Able to twist and bend while moving pans of parts #ALN All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
