About the Opportunity As a ServiceNow Configuration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless delivery of services across the organisation by managing and optimising our ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will drive the configuration and maintenance of the CMDB, creating and managing Configuration Items (CIs) and relationships to enhance data integrity and improve user experience. In this role, you will: Configure and customise ServiceNow to align with organisational needs, including scripting for data imports, transformations, and normalisation. Manage the CMDB, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards through regular audits and reconciliation. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver continuous enhancements to system performance. Lead service improvement initiatives, maintaining knowledge bases and supporting business cases for new opportunities. Build capability across the team, fostering knowledge sharing and translating business requirements into actionable service improvements. About you You’re a detail-oriented ServiceNow expert with a passion for delivering seamless, high-quality technology services. You thrive in environments that value precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and you bring strong technical skills to optimise ServiceNow configurations and enhance user experience. You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have proven experience in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and CMDB management. Possess strong understanding of CI relationships, data governance, and ITIL best practices. Are skilled in JavaScript, workflows, and UI policies within the ServiceNow platform. Can troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues effectively. Communicate clearly and collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements. Have excellent analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy, quality, and maintaining detailed documentation. Desirable: Exposure to ServiceNow Discovery, Flow Designer, and integrations. Experience with performance monitoring and optimisation. Ability to build team capability and lead small initiatives. Experience developing business cases for service improvements.
