MUST HAVE SKILLS

· - Valid G License
· - 3–5 years experience in snow removal and heavy equipment operation
· - Certified to operate wheel loaders and skid steers
· - Physically fit and prepared for cold weather
· - Reliable vehicle and smartphone with data
· - Commitment to safety, accuracy, and punctuality

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

As an Equipment Operator, you’ll be part of our dedicated winter operations team, clearing snow and de-icing sites during winter events. You’ll work with a skilled team, operate top-of-the-line machinery (with heat and radios!), and help ensure sites remain clear and safe 24/7 throughout the season.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate loaders and skid steers safely and efficiently during winter storms
  • Clear snow and apply salt/de-icing material based on site-specific guidelines
  • Maintain detailed job and equipment logs for safety and insurance
  • Perform basic equipment checks and maintenance (fluids, grease, air pressure, fueling)
  • Collaborate with team members or lead operations on-site
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Be ready to work on-call 24/7 from November 1 to March 31
  • Work long shifts, including 12+ hour storm events when needed
  • Occasional lifting or shoveling in extreme weather conditions
