Overview:
Operate a plow truck for 10-14 hours per snowstorm, Attention to detail and safety is most important. Wage will depend on work experience and reliability. 200 winter Hours guaranteed with a stand-by weekly retainer range of $100-$400.
Duties:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks
- Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Spread salt or sand on surfaces to prevent ice buildup
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing conditions
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred
- Knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Note: This position may also involve landscape maintenance duties during non-snow seasons.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $29.00-$45.00 per hour
