Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Snow Removal DIVISION: Mountain Operations REPORTS TO: Parking & Roads Supervisor LOCATION: Base Area Lots CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/ Part-Time/ Seasonal/ Hourly POSITION: Solitude is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys the outdoors and breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. The snow removal tech is an important position as they responsible for utilizing heavy equipment to clear the base area roads and parking lots of snow to allow for daily operations. This is an overnight position, dependent on weather conditions. During periods of high-pressure weather conditions, there is opportunity to acquire full time hours working in other areas, if desired. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Swing and graveyards shifts are required for this position Safety consciousness is required Mechanical aptitude is required Heavy equipment experience is preferred Concentration and hand-eye coordination skills Receptive and responsive to instruction Ability to work well with others is required Communication skills preferred Must provide our basic tool kit Must have reliable transportation for extreme conditions Must be dependable and able to complete work at a high standard with limited supervision Must have a phone to maintain communication Must be flexible as this work is dependent on weather conditions and there is opportunity to gain consistent hours in other areas JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Competently perform the required vehicle and equipment inspections and servicing records Safely operate equipment Be responsive to direction and instruction during training and while performing assignments Provide the best product possible and concentrate on improving techniques Quickly and accurately report any problems with products and equipment.
