As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator at Boreal and Soda Springs, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our resort safe, accessible, and running smoothly through all weather. You’ll be behind the controls of loaders, plows, and other large machinery to remove snow from roads, parking lots, walkways, and key resort areas. This is a hands-on, high-impact job for experienced operators who enjoy early mornings, working outdoors, and making a difference. Perks: Starting pay: $20–$25/hour (DOE) Free season pass to Boreal, Soda Springs, and all POWDR resorts Full access to the Bunker — Woodward Tahoe’s indoor training facility with trampolines, foam pits, skateparks, and more Discounts on food, retail, and gear Discounts for friends and family Work in a fun, supportive, mountain-town environment Career advancement opportunities across the Woodward and POWDR network What You’ll Be Doing: Operating front-end loaders, plow trucks, skid steers, and other snow removal equipment Clearing snow from access roads, parking lots, building entrances, walkways, and resort infrastructure Maintaining equipment through regular checks, fueling, and reporting maintenance needs Working early mornings, nights, weekends, and during active storms Following all safety procedures while operating equipment in high-traffic or guest-facing areas Supporting other departments with equipment needs as necessary (e.g., hauling, clearing space for deliveries, etc.) Collaborating with the facilities team to prioritize areas based on operational needs Qualifications: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in winter or snow removal environments Must be 18 or older Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required Able to work outdoors for extended periods in cold, snowy, and icy conditions Comfortable working overnight or early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays Strong situational awareness and safety-first mindset Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or with a team You make us Woodward.
