Ability to work extended hours if necessary ? Customer and quality focus ? Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) ? Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly through a workday ? Valid drivers license Requirements Key requirements ? Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events (on call 24/7 when snow is forecasted) ? Prepare and show up for shifts free from the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or medicines that influence safety or productivity ? Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all small equipment ? Clear snow and ice accumulations from customer sites from designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, salt spreaders and bagged salt ? Pile snow in designated and approved locations only ? Always be available for communication ? Document and report any obstacles at sites ? Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment Work Conditions: Fast paced, outdoors, in various winter conditions. Various locations, including both residential and commercial sites.
