REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over six years of experience in data warehousing and relational databases, including expertise in Snowflake, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Skilled in handling multiple Snowflake accounts, ideally across various cloud providers.
  • Proficient in monitoring Snowflake usage, managing warehouses, and configuring resource monitors effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), best practices for setting up Snowflake roles, and secure access management.
  • Experienced in configuring Snowflake Secure Data Sharing, managing data consumers, and leveraging Partner Connect.
  • Capable of creating replicated databases and demonstrating database replication, failover, and failback processes.
  • Ability to implement and explain enhancements from Public and Private Preview features to users.
  • Experienced in overseeing Snowflake releases, particularly in managing deprecations in monthly updates.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Shell Scripting, and Python.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • At least two years of supervisory or team leadership experience in cross-functional or project delivery teams.
  • Adept at engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders on technical topics.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement technical solutions for complex data challenges.
  • Familiarity with project and system development methodologies, particularly Agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, relational database architectures, query languages, standard programming environments, data integration tools, application integration solutions, and web-based information systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently
