Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide scalable solutions.
Define the target-state data architecture and a phased roadmap. Establish Snowflake reference patterns (e.g., multi-cluster warehouses, Zero-Copy Clones, masking policies) and coding standards. Align architecture with retail priorities: inventory visibility, omni-channel personalization, margin optimization, and customer 360.
Monitor and optimize Snowflake spend; implement usage tagging, auto-suspend, and query governance.
Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake from various data sources.
Implement and optimize Snowflake solutions, including data warehouse design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Integrate Snowflake with other cloud platforms, third-party tools, and on-premises systems.
Monitor and optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse utilization, and data load performance to ensure high efficiency.
Implement data validation checks, monitor data quality, and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide scalable solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and Snowflake configurations.
Implement role-based access control, data encryption, and other security measures within Snowflake.
Stay updated with Snowflake’s latest features and industry best practices to improve existing processes.
