As a Snowmaking Attendant at Boreal and Soda Springs, you’ll play a key role in creating the snow that makes winter happen. No experience in snowmaking? No problem — we’ll train you! This is a physically active, hands-on role perfect for people who enjoy working outside (day or night) and want to be part of a team that helps shape the mountain experience for every guest. This is a Full-Time or Part-Time, Seasonal position with employee housing available starting at $325/month. Perks: Starting pay: $18/hour Employee housing available – starting at just $325/month Free season pass to Boreal, Soda Springs, and all POWDR resorts Full access to the Bunker — Woodward Tahoe’s indoor training facility with trampolines, foam pits, skateparks, and more Discounts on food, retail, and gear Discounts for friends and family Work in a fun, supportive, mountain-town environment Career advancement opportunities across the Woodward and POWDR network What You’ll Be Doing: Operating snow guns and other equipment to help produce snow across the mountain Setting up and moving snowmaking hoses and guns across varied terrain Working outside in all types of mountain weather — often at night Monitoring snow conditions and adjusting equipment as directed Learning how to safely operate on-mountain vehicles and machinery Communicating with your team and other departments throughout your shift Playing a vital role in building the foundation for an awesome winter season Qualifications: No prior snowmaking experience required — just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Must be comfortable working outside in cold, wet, and physically demanding conditions Must be 18 or older Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, bend, crouch, and be on your feet for extended periods Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays Team player with a positive attitude Bonus if you ski or ride — but not required Join our Mountain Ops crew and help make winter happen! Responsibilities
