THE OPPORTUNITY:

Join a high-performing finance team during a key period of transformation. CSR is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to support strategic integration, reporting, and compliance initiatives over a 12-month contract, based in North Ryde.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support finance system integration, including alignment of chart of accounts and reporting structures.
  • Oversee month-end processes, financial data integrity, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinate half-year and year-end reporting, financial statements, and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting.
  • Contribute to ERP implementation planning and other finance improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver technical accounting advice for projects, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Drive process improvements using technology and standardised practices to enhance reporting efficiency.

About you:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with audit experience (medium to large entities)
  • At least seven years’ practical experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong background in corporate accounting, consolidations, and statutory reporting
  • Experience with finance IT integrations and acquisition accounting (desirable)
  • Excellent accounting knowledge and strong analytical mindset
  • Proficient in SAP or other major ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
