[What the role is] We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with expertise in international trade, logistics, supply chain management, procurement, and/or process improvement, who is passionate about nurturing future-ready professionals for the global business environment. [What you will be working on] Teaching & Student Development Conduct lectures, tutorials, student consultations, and supervise industry-based projects and internships. Teach and facilitate learning in areas such as supply chain management, logistics management, procurement, operations management, process improvement, smart logistics, and digital transformation. Support students’ learning and development through mentoring, coaching, and appropriate academic interventions. Organise student activities, industry visits, overseas learning journeys, and experiential learning opportunities to promote holistic development. Curriculum, Assessment & Learning Design Develop and deliver relevant teaching and learning materials, including assessments, assignments, marking, and moderation activities. Evaluate and enhance curriculum quality, lesson design, delivery methods such as e-learning, flipped classroom, and blended learning, as well as assessment practices through effective teaching and learning strategies. Contribute to subject reviews, curriculum development, accreditation exercises, and programme enhancement initiatives. Digital, Applied & Industry-Relevant Learning Embed technology-enabled practices into curriculum design, preparing students to leverage digital technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), data analytics, generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and other Industry 4.0 solutions to improve operational efficiency and supply chain performance. Translate current industry practices into meaningful and effective learning experiences that strengthen students’ workplace readiness and applied problem-solving capabilities. Industry Collaboration & Professional Practice Participate actively in professional development activities, industry projects, consultancy work, and applied research initiatives. Contribute actively to school-wide, poly-wide, and industry engagement activities. Continuing Education & Training (CET) Develop and facilitate Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes and professional workshops for adult learners and industry practitioners. [What we are looking for] Qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related discipline. At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in logistics, procurement, process improvement, and/or related areas, with the ability to apply improvement approaches and digital tools to enhance business and operational performance. Familiarity with areas such as sourcing and procurement, sustainability, ESG, or supply chain transformation will be advantageous. Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
