You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, physios, mental health professionals, and dental staff. Services include primary care, aviation and underwater medicine, and a 24-bed low-dependency ward which operates 24/7. Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1630 Monday- Friday (depending on role requirements, and base location you may be required for weekend and on-call shifts). What you’ll do Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members Occ Med environment Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care Additional information: Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Provide Occupational Medicine services Civilian role – no enlistment required Part-time, full-time and after-hours opportunities available Who we are Serco supports more than 12,000 professionals across Asia Pacific, delivering essential services in defence, health, justice, and beyond.
