Spanning across two building, Kapooka offers variety with a 50 bed low dependency ward operating 24/7 and a multidisciplinary clinic delivering primary health care Monday to Friday, offering a broad spectrum of healthcare services, including nursing, medical, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical, and physiotherapy. What you’ll do Work within the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy Intake assessment, risk assessment and crisis intervention Case formulation and treatment planning Programmatic treatment interventions Manage patient clinical records, filing of hard copy reports, booking and recall of patients What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a general Psychologist Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate Experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
