OP 1 Wage: $37.38/H Op 2 Wage: $39.08/H OP 3 Wage: $42.47/H Status: Full time, non-exempt Reports to: Field Supervisor Travel Requirements: 100% Schedule: 28 days on and 14 days off including evenings, holidays, and weekends Work Location: This position requires 100% travel. Work locations will vary between the Permian, Haynesville, Bakken, and Appalachia basins, as well as neighboring states. All new hire training will be based in Zelienople, PA.  Work Environment is non-traditional. Frequent trips to remote job sites will require working in a variety of potentially harsh weather conditions.   Operator The Operator assists in leading the work of crews at well sites and shop areas while demonstrating a personal commitment to safety. Operators have several years of experience Hydraulic Completion Unit (HCU) operations and are responsible for ensuring the unit and ancillary equipment operate efficiently and safely. They play a key role in planning jobs, delivering instructions to the crew, conducting safety drills, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. Operators are responsible for coaching crew members, running the unit, maintaining equipment, and executing tasks according to customer specifications.   Why Choose Deep Well Services? * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits 401(k) Plan * Quarterly safety bonus * High pressure and progression bonus * Career growth opportunities * Paid travel and training * Per diem * PPE provided * Wellness programs including telehealth and Employee Assistance Program * Discounted reduced gym membership rates   Duties * Ensure all equipment tests and inspections have been properly conducted and documented. * Communicates well with other services on site and represents DWS with professionalism * Understands role and can run unit during both low pressure and high pressure well operations. * Ensure all equipment is installed/assembled per regulatory guidelines. * Conduct Pre-Job Safety Meetings ensuring that all hazards and risks are recognized, communicated and addressed. * Recognize when out-of-scope operations are encountered during routine tasks, STOP the task and conduct another hazard assessment. Determine a safe course of action and the control measures required to mitigate the out-of-scope conditions. * Ensure rig operates in a safe manner according to company policy and procedures. * Perform daily inspections prior to work * Assist in helping the supervisor with CAT-1 and CAT-2 inspections * Other duties as assigned by management. Skills & Abilities Education:  High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience) Experience: 4+ years in the HCU/snubbing services environment with proven previous standalone operating experience, and: * Able to proficiently run jack, tongs and winches. * Able to rig up and rig down snubbing unit. * Strong knowledge of snubbing operations ( low-pressure and high-pressure) for drillouts, punch ins, landing hangers, etc. * Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting hydraulics. * Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions. * Able to lead a crew and designated crew on tasks to be performed throughout the shift. * Strong knowledge of rigging, winches, tongs, and snubbing unit operations. * Working from heights is required. Must be able to work safely at heights, 100ft+, by operating a man lift, scissor lift, and climbing ladders, when necessary, by utilizing fall protection. * Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. Other Requirements:  Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and produce a negative drug screen.   Physical Requirements * Ability to pass a pre-employment physical. * Stand, walk, and lift tools for extended periods of time. * Lift up to 50lbs – 80lbs. * Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. * Work in extreme weather conditions. * Work scheduled rotations at any location (28/14) including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends * Working from heights is required.
