*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

The Expert SOA Architect will be a senior architect/engineer with high competence and experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA for very large installations. This role involves Oracle SOA technical platform design, advising on architectural direction, lifecycle management, and ensuring alignment with business objectives for the SOA implementation.

• Lead the technical design and architecture of the Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA platform.
• Govern the lifecycle management of the SOA implementation, including sunset strategies.
• Develop and maintain architectural artifacts for SOA solutions.
• Ensure SOA solutions meet functional, non-functional, and performance requirements in large-scale environments.
• Provide expert guidance on SOA best practices, design patterns, and standards.
• Collaborate with IT Architects, developers, and operations teams.
• Identify and manage architecturally significant changes in SOA solutions.
  Years of Experience: 8-10+ years
  Primary Skillset: Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, BAM, MFT), Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML technologies, Messaging (JMS, AQ).
  Secondary Skillset: Oracle Fusion Middleware administration, API Management concepts, Microservices architecture principles.
  Must-have Skills:
• Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions with Oracle SOA Suite in large installations.
• Deep understanding of SOA principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Strong experience with BPEL Process Manager, Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
• Proficiency in Web Services standards and XML technologies.
  Good-to-have Skills:
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) integration services.
• Knowledge of API Gateway products.
• Familiarity with newer integration paradigms like microservices and event-driven architecture.
