To achieve this, we’re looking for a dynamic and creative Social and Owned Media Content Strategist to lead the development of compelling, audience-first multimedia content that fuels growth across our digital ecosystem to join #TeamMVP.
This role is ideal for a strategic storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating engaging content—from podcasts and videos to blogs, infographics, and social media posts—that drives organic engagement and builds community.
You’ll be shaping and executing a content strategy that amplifies MVP’s voice across owned and social channels, with a focus on increasing reach, relevance, and resonance. Your work will directly contribute to the growth of MVP’s organic social media presence by producing content that informs, inspires, and invites interaction. You’ll collaborate across departments and with external partners to bring stories to life that reflect our mission, values, and impact—while continuously optimizing content based on performance insights and audience feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL BRING:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in content strategy, multimedia content creation, and organic social media management, ideally within a regulated industry such as health care or financial services.
  • Proven storytelling ability with a strong portfolio showcasing original content across formats—video, audio, written, and visual—that drives engagement and brand growth.
  • Advanced proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, or similar platforms for video editing and podcast production.
  • Hands-on experience with blog publishing platforms and podcast hosting tools.
  • Skilled in social media management platforms like SproutSocial, or similar, with a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices and analytics.
  • Strong ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content for digital channel optimization.
  • Empathy-driven communicator with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to representing member voices with professionalism and care.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across marketing, PR, customer service, and compliance teams to align content with organizational goals.
  • Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Data-informed thinker who uses performance metrics and audience insights to continuously refine content strategy and improve outcomes.
