We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Social Care Worker to join our team in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
Contract Type: Permanent Post
Contract Hours: Part time Post, 35 hours per week
Salary Scale: €38,107 – €50,953 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)

1. STATUTORY REGISTRATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, ETC.

• Eligible applicants will be those who, on the closing date for the competition:
• Hold professional registration, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU. See list of recognised Social Care qualifications at: CORU Approved Qualifications

OR

• Have a Schedule 3 qualification. See list of recognised Schedule 3 qualifications at: Schedule 3 Qualifications

OR

• Have a comparable qualification recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.

OR

• Applicants who satisfy the conditions set out in Section 91 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 must submit proof of application for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.The acceptable proof is correspondence from the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU confirming their application for registration as a Section 91 applicant was received by 30th November 2025.

OR

• Provide proof of statutory registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
