Description

DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR GRAZING ANIMALS AND ENGAGING CONTENT?

Then you’re probably the person we’re looking for.
Nofence is a growing Norwegian tech company that combines nature and innovation, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in animal welfare and sustainable grazing. With the world’s first virtual fencing system for grazing animals, we’ve helped farmers in over 30 countries let their animals roam free while keeping full control. Now we’re looking for a Social & Community Specialist to build engagement around our brand and products by creating content that inspires, educates, and truly resonates with farmers across the globe.

Responsibilities

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

This is a newly created global role with big responsibility — and even bigger potential. You’ll get the chance to shape the role yourself, test new ideas, and influence both strategy and execution. You’ll create content while also helping define how Nofence works with organic social media across markets, leading content planning and channel strategy. You’ll hold the overview, while working closely with local marketing managers in the US and Spain to develop relevant and engaging content.
You’ll be a key part of our global marketing team based in Oslo and will collaborate closely with our Brand Manager, as well as designers, digital resources, and farmers from all over the world.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, create, publish, and optimize content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit
  • Engage and build a community around our brand based on insight, in our own channels and relevant discussion forums
  • Coordinate collaborations with relevant partners, influencers, and stakeholders
  • Travel occasionally to share inspiring stories from our customers both locally and abroad
  • Actively participate in conversations with our customers, answering questions and contributing with knowledge and warmth
  • Monitor and analyze community engagement and feedback — including media monitoring and social listening — to continuously improve

To succeed in this role, you likely:

  • Have 1–3 years of experience with social media, content production, or community management — agency or in-house
  • Are curious, independent, and comfortable filming, photographing, and editing short videos with your phone
  • Are a strong communicator who loves writing short, engaging copy
  • Have a good understanding of what is a hit on TikTok at 10pm and what resonates with farmers on Facebook at 6am (you’ve worked with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Are fluent in both Norwegian and English. Spanish is a big plus (but not a requirement)
  • Bonus: You’re familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express — and maybe even Figm
