Responsibilities
  • Review video footage to identify the best clips for use on social media platforms, focusing on moments that are engaging, shareable, and aligned with brand.
  • Shoot, produce and edit social first content that adheres to platform-specific best practices and aligns with brand voice & tone.
  • Assist in archiving, labeling and organizing footage from interviews, b-roll, and off-sites.
  • Pitch, develop and produce original content for use on social media.
  • Partner with content producers on experimenting with trending video styles, formats, and effects.
  • Help support Social Content team with managing SiriusXM’s content calendars.
  • Write copy for social media posts across the SiriusXM brand and Sports accounts as assigned.
  • Coordinate with external agencies via Monday.com to traffic creative assets and coordinate other tasks related to content distribution.
  • Generate unique tracking links to ensure social content is properly measured.
  • Manually input social media performance data to track and monitor key metrics across platforms as directed by team lead.
  • Work across internal stakeholders including Programming, Talent, PR, Marketing and Paid Social departments to facilitate asset requests and approval of content.
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends in digital and social video production and share with the larger team.
  • Provide coverage during the evenings, on weekends and/or holiday weekends may be required with notice.
  • Support Social Content Producers with publishing assets for their channels as needed.
  • Assist the Social Content Department with other projects assigned.
