Content Creator

Shopfront Media | Perth, WA

Part-time | 20–24 hours per week

Flexible, remote-first + out-and-about across Perth

Come and create with us.

Shopfront Media is looking for a Content Creator with a great eye, excellent social instincts and a camera roll that's probably already slightly out of control.

We're a specialist retail and lifestyle social media agency helping brands turn scrollers into shoppers, and we need another creative pair of hands to help us do it.

You'll work closely with our Social Media Specialists & Creative Director across our portfolio of retail, hospitality & lifestyle brands, taking content from brief-to-capture-to-edit-to-ready-to-publish.

One day you might be capturing a new restaurant opening, the next filming a vox pop in a shopping centre, covering a fashion show event or turning a very normal retail moment into a Reel that customers will actually want to watch.

You'll be out in the real world, finding the moments that make great content.

What you'll be creating:

  • Social-first photo and video content.
  • Reels, TikToks, vox pops, retailer stories, interviews, events and campaign content.
  • Editing short-form video into polished, platform-ready assets.
  • Working from a brief while having the creative confidence to spot the shots we didn't think to ask for.
  • Making retailers, staff, customers and talent feel comfortable in front of the camera.
  • Keeping footage, edits and content libraries organised (creative chaos is welcome; Google Drive chaos is not).
  • Keeping an eye on trends, hooks, formats and what's happening on social... and knowing which ones are worth using.
  • Capturing behind-the-scenes content and helping bring the Shopfront brand to life across our own channels.
  • Jumping into campaigns, launches, events and peak retail moments alongside the wider Shopfront team.

What we're looking for:

You know the difference between a trend worth jumping on and one that's already three weeks too late. You care about the first three seconds of a Reel. You're confident approaching people, getting the shot and then turning a camera roll full of footage into something worth interacting with.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 1-2+ years experience creating social-first photo and video content.
  • Strong short-form video editing skills.
  • A very good understanding of Instagram and TikTok.
  • An eye for framing, storytelling, hooks and pacing.
  • Confidence directing people on camera.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing software.
  • Plenty of initiative — we don't want to have to write every good idea into the brief.
  • Bonus points: professional photography skills alongside lofi experience will be highly regarded.

Agency experience is great, but it's not essential. Show us what you can make.

You'll need a current driver's licence and reliable transport, as our clients are spread across Pert
