JOB SUMMARY –

  • Digital Equity Accelerator support (50% of time)
  • Manage Digital Equity Accelerator community of 8 nonprofit organizations during the six-month program. This includes
  • Sending weekly emails to participants
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Providing resources to support their development
  • Supporting logistics for cohort calls and workshops (estimated at least 2x per month)
  • Manage alumni community of 27 nonprofit organizations who have participate in the Digital Equity Accelerator in previous years
  • Arrange 2-3 group catchup calls with them per year
  • Support alum grant winners
  • Post weekly on Alum LinkedIn Group
  • Respond to Alum inquiries
  • Coordinate with Accelerator partners (internal and external partners and vendors)
  • Support Digital Equity Accelerator communications
  • Coordinate with communications vendor (attending meetings, following up on action items)
  • Update internal folders and files regularly
  • Draft emails, cohort documents, and other items
  • Support Pitch Fest (global virtual event) planning and execution
  • Support Pitch Fest vendor activities
  • Contribute to run of show for the event
  • Coordinate pitch practice sessions with nonprofits
  • Partnership support – programs (25% of time)
  • Participate in partner and internal calls, taking notes and providing call prep materials as needed.
  • Manage the day to day up to two partnerships including
  • Support in research for new partners
  • Create materials for strategic partnerships including drafting decks, summaries, and other materials
  • Comms/Assets + Materials support (25% of time)
  • Project management (end to end)
  • Strong support in drafting decks, summaries, and other materials
  • Ability to synthesis complex information into executive-ready briefing materials
  • Contributing to strategic communications planning and execution.
  • Assist in developing media and marketing materials including key messages, news releases, media alerts, talking points
  • Participate in regular cross-team planning calls, taking notes and providing call prep materials as needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

  • 5-10 years work supporting corporate sustainability & social impact, non-profit organizations, or a similar ‘impact-driven’ field
  • Proficient in English, spoken and written
  • Familiarity with concepts surrounding digital equity and breaking the digital divide; tech sector expertise a plus
  • Comfortable making presentations to high-level executives in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and skilled at making decks and other materials for executive presentations
  • Effective team and very strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs and numerous assignments
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills + very strong attention to detail
  • Experience and ability to work effectively with a remote team in multiple time zones
  • Ability to present information in a digestible way
  • Comms and marketing experience a plus
