YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Support with program planning for community programs.
  • Support the participant intake, review and exit process utilising Council’s customer management system.
  • Development, coordination and review of NDIS Service Agreements.
  • Collate and enter case notes, customer feedback and reviews and other relevant information into Council systems.
  • Cash handling including receiving money and reconciling cash and EFT payments.
  • Use sound professional judgement and problem-solving skills to resolve matters and know when to escalate matters to the Quality Coordinator or Manager.

We are looking for someone with relevant qualifications and/or experience in community services, customer service, or a related field. In addition, you will bring:

  • Experience delivering or planning programs that support people with a disability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. (both written and verbal), with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level administrative experience.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible, and to work under minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to delivering programs in a way that supports customer rights, diversity, access, and inclusion.
  • Demonstrated initiative, forward planning and time management skills
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The Social Inclusion Program Support role is responsible for providing administration support and assistance in the coordination and delivery of community services programs in the Connection and Inclusion team.
