We are seeking a strategically driven Social Lead with a love for content, community and social insights to join our team to lead one of the biggest social accounts in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the social output, managing their social identity, overseeing social-first content and identifying community-led insights. Our Social Lead will understand how to find insights & develop strategic direction for a brand to leverage their community. You can turn a comment stream into a genuine strategic opportunity that connects to business objectives. You have in depth experience in managing communities and are ready to lead a team in taking this to new heights. You live and breathe social media and know about format changes, shifts in channel behaviours and trends before they hit the For You page. Overseeing all aspects of community for a brand from community engagement, influencer connection and content creation. With great progression, the chance to work with the latest technology and some of the world’s most famous brands, a normal day in the role of the Social Lead includes: Client Engagement – Working closely with our clients as their key social partner, understanding their business problems and contributing insights/planning to help address them. Social Expertise - Bringing your social expertise & insight into your direct work but also through the wider agency to consult on briefs and help elevate the role of social within ideas. Channel Management - Own the content calendar and planning for our clients, knowing what messages work best where, when we need clear space in the calendar and juggling brand priorities. Cultural Relevance - You understand what moves culture, how to track moments as they gain viral traction and when a brand has a right to contribute to them. Social Insights - You know how to work with social listening tools and to digest quantitative data to unpack opportunities for brands to deepen their social footprint. Community-First - You understand how to harness a community, what formats and tactics can be used to engage, along with how to embed the right comms frameworks in crisis or campaign scenarios. Work collaboratively with creatives, strategists, social folk and clients to deliver best practise To be in the running for this great role, you should have: 7-9 years of experience working in social either, ideally from an agency background or client direct. Confident communication skills to energetically engage internal and external stakeholders and articulate your thoughts A deep understanding of social formats, strategy and technology Experience leading a team of social managers/executives to deliver different aspects of social Experience working alongside creatives, strategists and producers to make work that pushes boundaries A passion for subcultures and the want to teach people on your own personal insights Strong written skills & attention to detail Comfortability working under a sense of urgency, context switching and being resourceful and proactive The willingness to grow with and alongside the business An open attitude and excited by change... you are a problem solver The passion to champion your team within the agency Sound like something that you would love to be a part of?
