Description

This is the Rundown: Who We Are
Being one of the larger privately-owned construction companies in North America, Reliance offers general contracting services in all aspects of project planning, execution and delivery. Over the last year, we’ve grown continuously due to our employees’ performance, but mostly through their passion, focus, and determination. This expansion however has not let us forget that we are still a family-owned company established in 1948. Our presence in the construction industry over more than half a century has led us to an unparalleled understanding of the industry, allowing us to provide our clients with a sense of complete trust and confidence. They rely on us to complete a project they’ve envisioned, and we accept that responsibility to make it a reality.
This is the role: Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
Reporting to our Principal, the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating compelling content, and driving marketing initiatives to showcase our projects and company culture. Principle tasks will involve coordinating with internal teams across all three cities to collect and curate content, as well as planning and implementing overall marketing strategies. This role will be based in Montreal or Toronto, four days a week, but also involving some travel to other office locations, this person must be fully bilingual.

Responsibilities

As a vital member of our marketing team, you will play a key role in shaping and sharing our brand’s story across multiple platforms. Your contributions will directly influence how our projects are perceived. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Content Creation: Develop and execute creative and engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and campaigns that align with our brand identity and project themes. You’ll be expected to stay ahead of the content trends and platform updates to ensure our messaging remains fresh and relevant.
  • Photography and Videography: Capture dynamic and high-quality photos and videos that showcase our construction projects, team activities, and events in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.
  • Video and Photo Editing: Edit photos and videos to create polished, professional content for social media, websites, and marketing materials. Consistency with brand guidelines and a keen eye for story telling will be essential.
  • Story and Theme Development: Work closely with leadership and project teams in order to craft compelling narratives and themes that highlight our projects, values, and community impact.
  • Content Management: Collaborate with internal teams in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto to collect and organize content, ensuring consistent brand messaging. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a structured content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and alignment of messaging across all our platforms.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
  • Marketing Strategy: Contribute creative and strategic insights to the development and execution of overall marketing strategies, including campaigns, promotions, and partnerships. You will be responsible for scheduling and distributing the newsletter to internal audiences.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Regularly monitor social media and marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to refine and improve our digital strategy.
