JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility for this position will be the promotion of a feature length documentary about a woman who is a world renowned wildlife photographer. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and analytics to optimize our online presence and foster relationships with our community. Prior experience marketing films is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in social media management or a related field with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Experience promoting documentaries or short films preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with video editing software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing principles, e-commerce strategies, and relationship management techniques.
  • Strong understanding of SEO practices, web analytics, and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content.
  • Knowledge of Facebook Advertising and other paid advertising platforms is highly desirable.
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
