A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Luxury 5* Corporate Hotel brand, Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel in Canary Wharf, East London.
We are currently recruiting a proactive and tec savvy Social Media and Marketing Manager to be a part of our main central Heartbeat of the Hotel, the Sales and Marketing Department.
Set within the historic wharfs and quays of East London, Canary Riverside Plaza is the only five-star independent hotel in Canary Wharf. The 142 spacious guest rooms and suites make for an incredibly comfortable stay, be it for business or leisure, offering stunning views of the River Thames and city beyond. Enjoy the full five-star experience with access to the adjacent Health Club and Spa or indulge with afternoon tea on the sun-filled terrace at the Quadrato Restaurant.
Quadrato Restaurant offers Italian inspired menus with flavours that are light, fresh and quintessentially Italian. The incredible view of the River Thames and London skyline are best enjoyed from the elegant terrace or on colder days, the soaring windows of the restaurant. The adjacent Quadrato Bar & Lounge offers an array of signature cocktails, wine, beer and spirits and is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks or a night cap.
Adjacent to the hotel, all guests enjoy complimentary access to a five-star Health Club. Set on the River Thames, the club offers three floors of expansive fitness facilities, including a sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pools and a 20 metre infinity edge lap pool.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

· Must have a minimum of 3 years full experience in a 5* Luxury Hotel in a proactive Social Medial and Marketing Manager position or a strong Social Media and Marketing Executive looking to step up their career.
· Full understanding the importance of Impeccable Hotel Guest Service and how to deliver it.
· Ability to multi task.
· Experience to an advanced level of using social channels such as Facebook & Instagram at a business level.
· Experience of web analytics – Web Fngerprints / Google Analytics.
· Track record of increasing traffic through Digital Marketing activity whilst driving improved ROI.
· Experience in Website Management.
· Must be commercially aware.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms.
· Knowledge of algorithms and search engine optimisation.
· Experience in SEO techniques, online marketplaces and in email marketing.
· Skilled at writing original, high-quality content.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partner.
· Analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE WOULD INCLUDE:

· Create captivating Organic Social Media content across our brand, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content.
· Manage all Social media Platforms including the Hotel Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn Accounts.
· Set up and monitor strategic campaigns across the Hotel social media platforms including the Hotel Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn Accounts.
· Use email software to generate and send out targeting email campaigns to customer to maintain customer interaction.
· Update and maintain the Hotel website with current events and offers.
· Analyse the long-term needs of the Hotel social media strategy and offering quarterly reports to the Director of Sales and the Hotel General Manager, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan.
· Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies.
· Develop and create monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the Director of Sales and the Hotel General Manager.
· Set measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI).
· Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts.
· Manage a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
· Analyse and track organic and paid efforts across all platforms.
· Responsible for all digital marketing including PPC, SEO, paid social and retargeting initiatives.
· Manage the voucher sales platforms.
· Organise campaign launches, photoshoots and content filming.
· Keep track of data and analysing of data using platforms such as GA
· Meet with other stakeholders (such as social media influencers) with pitching potential marketing campaigns.
· Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager or the Head of Hotels.
