SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media and Marketing Manager to join our expanding team at Wool Couture Company Ltd. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our community of craft enthusiasts. You will play a key role in promoting our unique products and driving brand awareness across various social media platforms and through engaging marketing activity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree/ qualification in Marketing with at least 2 years marketing experience within the retail/ wholesale sector.
  • Must come from a strong retail/ wholesale marketing background.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and other social media best practices.
  • Proven experience in social media management or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a creative flair for content creation.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights from performance metrics.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing specifically Shopify.
  • Experience with Photoshop/ Canva/ Illustrator.
  • Experience with Mailchimp/Klaviyo.
  • Proficiency in excel and other financial reporting systems.
  • Meticulously organised and unparalleled attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Possess a strong understanding of e-commerce and on- line business.
  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness.
  • Create engaging content tailored for various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • CRM understanding and ability to maximise the database potential (Mailchimp)
  • Plan and execute marketing programmes.
  • Manage and oversee social media content.
  • Define the most important social media KPIs.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Creative team.
  • Working on multiple online e-commerce sites e.g. Not on the High Street, ETSY and company specific online sites to ensure optimised.
  • Refresh e-commerce product listings to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
