JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and outgoing Social Media Assistant to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sexual wellness and sex positivity with a solid understanding of social media and online trends. You will work closely with our Social Media Coordinator and marketing team to assist in creating fun, engaging content that resonates with our audience across social media channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year experience in social media or related field is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable adapting to fast paced, evolving environments
  • Experience with scheduling platforms (such as Sprout) considered an asset
  • Ability to spot and predict online trends
  • Self proclaimed “chronically online”

Responsibilities
  • Daily Tasks:
  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, Twitter, and more
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with our community in a timely, authentic way
  • Help track and report on social media performance metrics
  • Manage DMs promptly, flagging any issues to the relevant teams and fostering positive community engagement
  • Source third party tweets, TikToks and reels that are brand-aligned
  • Create and schedule links in linktree
  • Support Social Media Coordinator as needed
  • Account Management:
  • Monitor account performance and community engagement
  • Respond to comments and DMs in a timely and professional manner across all platforms
  • Collaboration:
  • Participate in marketing meetings and contribute creative ideas to support broader marketing initiatives
  • Assist with other marketing projects as needed
