Social Media & Community Associate Japan Department: Demand Generation Employment Type: Contract Location: Japan Description ABOUT CLIENT Our client is a leading B2B fintech brand, whose financial infrastructure platform is leveraged by Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups. ABOUT THE ROLE This is an opportunity to craft and tell the stories of users, products, and the progress enabled by the internet economy. We’re looking for somebody to bring these stories to life across the social media channels our Japanese users—and prospective users—care about. Through company’s owned channels, you’ll help show how Japanese businesses are adopting company products, update users on new features, support storytelling campaigns and social-first projects. Key Responsibilities Develop social media content that promotes engagement with Japanese audiences: business decision makers, founders, and developers Oversee planning, execution, and management of social posts across the company ’s Japanese channels (X, Facebook, Youtube, etc) Support key product and market announcements Establish and nurture relationships with influencers that align with company’s brand values to amplify company’s reach and credibility Conduct competitive analysis to assess how we can lead the industry with thoughtful social media engagement Collaborate with other teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Developer Relations) to build company’s brand awareness in Japan Support and drive community meetups in Japan, in collaboration with Developer Relations and Startup Partnerships Use a broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with stakeholders when required Skills, Knowledge & Expertise With at least three years of experience in a tech, B2B environment, you’re ready to bring your expertise to our team. Bilingual Expertise: Fluent in Japanese and English? Your skills will help us connect with audiences effectively and inclusively. Social Media Expert: You know the key platforms and forums in Japan inside out. Help us engage and grow our digital audience. Your copywriting skills will help us craft messages that resonate and engage. Your eye for design will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aspects of our communications. You understand the local market nuances and tech landscape, enabling us to tailor our strategies effectively. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enhance our team’s reach and impact. Nice to have!
