Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a dynamic, consumer-focused team in their search for a Social Media & Community Executive to take ownership of the day-to-day social presence of a portfolio of well-loved brands.

This is a role for someone who lives and breathes social - someone who can spot a trend before it takes off, write copy that people want to engage with, and turn conversations happening online into meaningful insights for the wider business.

You'll be at the heart of the community: publishing content, responding to parents, monitoring conversations, identifying emerging issues and making sure every interaction feels authentic, empathetic and true to the brand.

Key Details:

  • Job Title: Social Media & Community Executive
  • Pay: £200 - £215/day, DOE
  • Location: Chiswick
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
  • Contract Length: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Own the daily execution of the social content calendar, including scheduling, publishing and community engagement.
  • Be the friendly, knowledgeable voice of the brand online, responding to comments, DMs and mentions with empathy and the right tone of voice.
  • Monitor social conversations and sentiment, turning what you hear into clear, actionable insights.
  • Produce weekly social listening reports covering category trends, brand sentiment and emerging conversations.
  • Keep a close eye on potential issues and identify, manage and escalate crises quickly and appropriately.
  • Stay ahead of social trends - both within the category and across the wider social landscape.
  • Monitor competitors daily and provide meaningful comparisons and insights.
  • Feed real-time consumer insight into the wider strategic briefing process.
  • Connect social activity with wider channels including influencer, web, email and consumer care.
  • Work closely with Digital Content & Strategy, Consumer Care, Brand and Legal & Regulatory teams.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding copywriting skills and a natural ability to adapt tone of voice.
  • Strong knowledge of the major social platforms and how audiences behave on each.
  • Experience with social listening tools, trend analysis and competitor monitoring.
  • A genuine talent for spotting cultural moments, trends and the zeitgeist.
  • Experience working within community management and/or crisis management protocols.
  • Exceptional empathy and active listening skills.
  • The confidence and composure to manage sensitive or challenging conversations.
  • A strong consumer-first mindset and the ability to advocate for the customer internally.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly where compliance and brand reputation are concerned.
