ABOUT US:

PositiveVibesto.ca is a Toronto‑based, youth‑led nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black youth and young adults through education, community initiatives, and culturally relevant programming. We strive to uplift, support, and amplify Black voices in Toronto. We are committed to creating inclusive, culturally rich, and uplifting content that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Creator to join us for two weekend events at Blue Mountain. This is a paid opportunity that’s perfect for a student or up-and-coming content creator who wants to build their portfolio, travel, and create exciting content in a live setting.
You’ll be responsible for capturing, editing, and posting content to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms in real time.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Portfolio or content samples (must include a link with your application)
  • Link to your Instagram account to show your current style and engagement
  • Confident using Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for business and content creation
  • Strong skills in shooting and editing short-form video content (Reels/TikToks)
  • Must bring your own equipment (camera or smartphone with great video/photo quality, editing apps, tripod, mic, etc.)
  • Able to work fast, independently, and meet same-day posting needs
  • Outgoing, organized, and comfortable recording/interviewing people
  • Available to travel and stay on-site both weekends (Aug 29–31 & Sept 12–14)
  • We value creators with lived experience and cultural insight — especially from Black and other underrepresented communities — as it adds richness and authenticity to the content we produce.
