At EEA, we create some of Australia's most loved consumer events, connecting passionate communities with brands, products, ideas and experiences.
We're focused on building engaged communities that live beyond our events, and we're looking for a creative, social-first Social Media & Content Creator to help tell those stories, capture those moments and bring our brands to life across social media.
This is not a traditional social media coordinator role.
We're looking for someone who lives and breathes content. Someone who sees stories everywhere, instinctively knows what will resonate on social media, and isn't afraid to jump in front of the camera to make it happen.
If you're constantly saving content ideas, spotting trends before everyone else, thinking in videos and hooks, and creating content because you genuinely love it, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
Working closely with our Content & Social Media Strategist, you'll be responsible for creating engaging, platform-native content that drives audience growth, engagement, registrations and ticket sales across EEA's event portfolio.
You'll capture content before, during and after events, creating authentic stories that showcase exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, products, experiences and the people behind our brands.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a natural creator who is energised by storytelling, social media and creating content people genuinely want to watch and engage with.

About You
We're looking for a creator first.
Someone who is naturally curious, creative and confident, with a genuine passion for social media, storytelling and content creation.
You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, but you do need to be comfortable stepping in front of the camera, interviewing people and becoming part of the content when appropriate.
You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy variety, and get excited by turning ideas into content quickly.
Skills & Experience
This role requires flexibility to work on variable event days including weekends, with schedules adapting to event calendar requirements.
Note, applications will not be reviewed until the week commencing 24 August 2026. We appreciate your patience during this time and will reach out to shortlisted candidates after this date.
Why Join EEA?
This is an opportunity to help shape the next phase of content and community growth across a portfolio of established event brands.
You'll work with a collaborative team, have the freedom to experiment creatively, and play a key role in building communities that connect hundreds of thousands of Australians with the brands, products and experiences they love.
If you're passionate about content, social media and storytelling and you're excited by the idea of creating content people genuinely want to watch, we would love to hear from you.
