Position Summary:
Legion Sports Bar seeks a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Content Creator who is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the restaurant’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage current and potential guests. This role involves creating high-quality photo and video content, managing posting schedules, monitoring engagement, and working closely with the restaurant team to showcase menu items, events, and the overall brand experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the restaurant’s goals.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content (photos, videos, reels, stories, graphics) for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others.
  • Plan and manage a consistent posting schedule to maintain brand visibility and engagement.
  • Capture real-time content during events, promotions, and daily restaurant operations.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the online community.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, conversions) to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies.
  • Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in the food & beverage and hospitality industries.
  • Collaborate with management and kitchen/bar staff to promote new menu items, specials, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate paid advertising campaigns (if applicable) to increase reach and drive reservations or sales.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent photography, videography, and editing skills (using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust content strategy accordingly.
  • Creative, resourceful, and able to capture the brand’s voice and aesthetic.
  • Familiarity with restaurant/hospitality marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for events.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business professional publications, technical procedures, manuals, or statutory regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and contractual agreements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, suppliers, members, and employees.

Computer Skills:

  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs including, but not limited to, Word-Processing, outlook, Spreadsheets, Toast.
