We operate two successful direct-to-consumer brands – Hug Rug and Rug Guru – as well as a thriving trade platform. We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to join our marketing team and take ownership of our content, campaigns, and social media presence.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience (3 Years) managing social media channels for a consumer-facing brand.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice for different audiences.
  • Experience using Shopify and Klaviyo (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Pinterest Analytics).
  • Creative eye for content and confidence in working with photography and design teams.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role for a talented marketer who thrives on creating engaging content and driving brand growth through digital channels. You’ll be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating compelling blog and email content, and supporting campaigns that enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
  • Write, edit, and publish blog posts that support SEO, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling.
  • Develop and execute targeted email campaigns via Klaviyo, including newsletters, promotions, and automated flows.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to create content for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and sales events (e.g. Black Friday, Christmas).
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social and email performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with designers and photographers to source and create strong visual content.
  • Support SEO by optimising content, meta data, and on-page copy.
  • Manage community engagement across platforms, responding to comments, messages, and building brand advocacy.
