Electrolux is seeking a dynamic Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team and help drive engagement, brand awareness, and community education through innovative social media strategies for both our Electrolux and Frigidaire brands. This role is vital to crafting and sharing our brand narratives, nurturing our online community, and driving business growth through effective social media management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong collaborative mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for leveraging social media to inform and inspire.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of social media strategies and best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience using social media to build brand awareness
  • Experienced in crafting compelling stories and captions that generate high engagement. Skilled in copy and content that resonates with audiences and boosts social media presence.
  • Ability to identify target audiences’ preferences and produce tailored content
  • Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to changing trends.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, digital media, or related field and two years of professional experience in social media and/or public relations.
  • Must have a full knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Have worked with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
Responsibilities
  • Manage a social media content calendar for the US and Canada through various channels, planning and scheduling posts in advance.
  • Activate with social media influencers, affiliates, and bloggers to create buzz around our brand and launches.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and promotions to enhance engagement.
  • Utilize content scheduling software and supplemental tools to plan social content accordingly.
  • Create, manage, and publish original and high-quality content across various social media platforms.
  • Manage all company social media accounts to ensure relevant, up-to-date on brand content.
  • Foster meaningful connections with followers by actively responding to comments, messages, and interactions.
  • Cultivate a sense of community by acknowledging and appreciating audience contributions and feedback.
  • Build relationships with influencers and industry partners to grow Frigidaire and Electrolux social media following.
  • Assist with content curation, sharing, and brand guidelines where relevant.
  • Brief content requests through agencies and influencer activations.
  • Coordinate influencer and affiliate contracts/agreements, product delivery, and product training to ensure partnerships are activated accordingly and within our brand standards.
