As we expand our team, we are looking for a talented, self-motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to manage and elevate the social media presence of our clients.Position Overview: We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and highly creative Social Media Coordinator to manage social media accounts for a variety of client brands. This role involves creating high-quality digital content, executing social media strategies, and ensuring the success of client campaigns across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter, highly organized, and skilled in digital photography and short-form video content with a strong understanding of social media trends. This remote position also requires occasional travel to shoot on-location content for clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Photography:
- Capture high-quality digital content (photos, videos) tailored to each client’s brand identity and marketing goals.
- Edit and optimize content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistency and high visual quality.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager and marketing team to understand the vision for each client and create content in alignment with our clients’ objectives, brand voice and strategic goals.
- Social Media Account Management:
- Assist the Social Media Manager with the oversight of the social media accounts of multiple clients, creating content calendars and scheduling daily posts.
- Craft compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and promote client goals.
- Actively monitor social media accounts for comments, messages, and interactions, responding promptly to engage with followers while ensuring to represent the client’s voice.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute tailored social media campaigns that align with broader marketing strategies.
- Regularly analyze performance data, track key metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize content and improve engagement.
- Actively identify and leverage trending topics, sounds, and formats across social platforms to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Organization & Reporting:
- Maintain organization across multiple client accounts, managing deadlines, content schedules, and project timelines.
- Provide detailed social media performance reports, including key metrics and insights, to clients on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all content aligns with clients’ branding and marketing goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation, preferably within an agency setting or for clients.
- Experience creating social media content and managing social media accounts relating to lifestyle, real estate, hospitality, or related industries is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing multiple social media accounts for brands or businesses and achieving engagement goals.
- Skills:
- Excellent photography skills, with proficiency in shooting and editing digital content (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn) and a deep understanding of their respective audiences.
- Proficiency in creating and editing short-form video content optimized for mobile platforms, with an understanding of platform-specific best practices.
- Knowledge of Social Media Scheduling Platforms like HeyOrca.
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools like Meta Business Suite and ability to interpret into actionable strategies that drive measurable growth.
- Up-to-date awareness of social media trends, emerging platforms, and cultural moments, with the ability to translate them into brand-appropriate content.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Strong creative eye and ability to curate visuals that balance aesthetic appeal with brand storytelling.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent time management highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, campaigns, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Other:
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative with self-accountability
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in content and messaging.
- Reliable access to transportation and flexibility to travel to various locations for client content shoots as required.
- Knowledge of the Houston area is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background and drug screen.
