OVERVIEW:

We’re hiring a Social Media Coordinator to help bring our brand to life online. This is a contract position for a freelancer or content-savvy marketer who knows how to create engaging, on-brand content that builds trust, grows audiences, and drives real-world results.

ABOUT US:

Founded in 1997, we’re a trusted name in outdoor construction and landscaping for Midtown Toronto homeowners. We specialize in interlock installation, deck building, and outdoor transformations that add value and curb appeal.
We’ve built our reputation on quality work and local relationships, and now we’re ready to strengthen our social media presence. You’ll be working with raw video and photo content from actual job sites (GoPro footage, before-and-afters, testimonials), and helping us turn that into compelling short-form content that shows people what we do best.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years experience managing social media for businesses or brands
• Strong short-form video editing skills
• Clear writing and storytelling skills
• Proficiency with tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar
• Experience with content scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Suite, Later, Buffer)
• Bonus: Experience in home services, construction, or local Toronto businesses

• Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Write engaging captions that reflect our tone and values
• Schedule and post content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
• Track engagement and provide basic reporting or insight
• Collaborate with the owner to prioritize timely content and upcoming jobs
