JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team in our office in Sabden. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence across our platforms and improve our marketing and sales efforts.
You will manage all social media channels, (including our Managing Directors social channels) create engaging content, and interact with our audience to foster community engagement and brand loyalty.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging content.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Videography/photography and video editing skills beneficial.
  • Drone licence and/or experience beneficial.
  • Knowledge with podcasting beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive traffic and engagement on all social media platforms which shall include strategies for the Managing Directors social platforms (specifically LinkedIn)
  • Help strategies and implement the framework of a new industry podcast with the Managing Director.
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and others, that aligns with our brand voice and values.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyse social media insights and data to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content and strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions that support marketing and sales objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into our strategy as appropriate.
