POSITION SUMMARY: The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for maintaining North Fork Mono Casinos' digital presence, and developing unique, engaging, and high-impact content that captivates audiences. This role demands out-of-the-box thinking, strong storytelling skills, and a bold on-camera presence. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and understands how to drive engagement and measurable success across multiple social media platforms. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. The Social Media Coordinator will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards. * Conceptualize and create bold, original content that sets North Fork Mono Casino apart--ranging from viral videos and trending social posts to high-quality photography and behind-the-scenes storytelling. * Be comfortable on-camera--whether it's hosting content, appearing in stories, or engaging with guests and team members in a dynamic, authentic way. * Act quickly to capitalize on trends, news, and engagement opportunities -- bringing fresh, innovative ideas to life in real time. * Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and implement an effective social media content calendar. * Produce, shoot, and edit video and photography content for all platforms. * Write compelling captions, headlines, and copy that grabs attention and sparks engagement. * Monitor and analyze social media performance, using data to optimize content strategies and deliver tangible results. * Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and internal teams to amplify brand reach. * Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, maintaining an engaging but professional voice that reflects North Fork Mono Casino's identity. * Cover live events, promotions, and on-site experiences, capturing the energy and excitement of the casino in real time. * Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager, creative team, and vendors to optimize campaign performance and ensure cohesive branding. * Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement. * Other job-related duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: * Comfortable on camera with the ability to bring energy, personality, and authenticity to content. * Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends. * Strong sense of creativity, imagination and innovation. * Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments. * In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices. * Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports and trends. * Proficiency in photo and video editing software (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED required. * Minimum of two (2) years experience in social media marketing and content creation. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation. * Must be at least 21 years of age. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * All work is performed on site in Madera, CA. * Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions. * Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift. WORK CONDITIONS: Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically performed in an office environment. However, work may be in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage.
