The San Telmo Group exists for a love of food, best exemplified through the convivial spirit of South American dining. Beginning in 2011, the dream of bringing a real Argentine Parilla restaurant to Melbourne became a reality when San Telmo opened its doors. Since then, the group has evolved and expanded, bringing more of the flavours and energy of South America to our beloved home city. Whether it’s the heartwarming Italian influence at Palermo, the excitingly Spanish-leaning menu at Asado, the bold Peruvian flavours at Pastuso, or the refined yet lively Japanese izakaya-style fare at Robata, our philosophy remains the same. Join The San Telmo Group as a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator and bring your creativity to life across five successful, vibrant hospitality venues. This role offers the opportunity to shape brand storytelling, create engaging content, and drive digital engagement. You’ll have the flexibility of a part-time schedule while gaining hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and event marketing. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Assistant Marketing Manager, you’ll contribute fresh ideas, collaborate with passionate teams, and enjoy a dynamic role that keeps you connected to Melbourne’s food and hospitality scene.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing. Experience with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok is essential, along with proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design. Strong written communication, organisation, and attention to detail will be key in maintaining brand consistency. A background in hospitality, and photography or videography is a plus, as is the ability to analyse engagement metrics and adapt strategies accordingly. Most importantly, you’ll be a creative, self-motivated individual who enjoys working collaboratively and capturing authentic moments that bring our brands to life.
