JOB OVERVIEW

The Social Media Creator & Strategist function focused on developing and executing bold, culturally fluent content across platforms—primarily Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Twitter, and Facebook. The role combines strategic planning, field-based content creation, paid media execution, and community engagement to grow FreeTV’s presence, drive viewership, and build an authentic connection with audiences in both English and Spanish. This position also collaborates closely with the company’s external social media consultant to ensure consistent global coverage and platform performance.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing both paid and organic social media for entertainment, streaming, or digital media brands.
  • Native-level fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Confident on-camera personality; skilled at creating short-form video content in the field.
  • Deep understanding of platform trends, meme culture, and how to activate Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
  • Experience managing influencer partnerships and user-generated content initiatives.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, YouTube Creator Studio, Google Analytics, Keyhole, or similar tools.
  • A sharp, fast-thinking creator with strategic, creative, and performance-driven instincts.
  • Comfortable working independently in a high-accountability, low-layer environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and own a fully integrated paid + organic social strategy to grow awareness, build engagement, and drive platform traffic.
  • Craft 360° campaign frameworks, from concept to launch, field production to paid boost, and KPI analysis.
  • Actively represent FreeTV in Miami (and occasionally U.S./LatAm) by capturing field interviews, short-form content, and creator collaborations.
  • Build relationships with influencers, micro-creators, and media personalities to develop culturally relevant, high-impact partnerships.
  • Respond daily to comments and messages across platforms with a consistent, bilingual (English/Spanish) voice.
  • Develop and maintain a brand tone that is witty, authentic, and pop-culture savvy—leveraging Gen Z lingo, memes, and trend cycles.
  • Lead paid social media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, and more.
  • Collaborate with ad sales and media ops to manage budgets and maximize ad ROI.
  • Coordinate closely with the social media consultant in Spain to streamline scheduling, execution, and content repurposing.
  • Partner with creative, content, programming, and PR teams to amplify launches and live activations.
  • Ensure high-quality output with minimal overhead; lead with creativity, speed, and strategic control.
  • Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., engagement rate, follower growth, video views, clicks, conversion lift).
  • Present monthly performance dashboards with insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Take full ownership of social operations, absorbing vendor functions where possible to maintain a lean internal structure.
