Nanak Naam is a global charity (UK & US registered) dedicated to creating a world where everyone can improve their mental and emotional wellbeing using spiritual wisdom and meditation.
Through educational programmes, digital content, live events and online courses, we’ve already impacted thousands of people worldwide and we’re just getting started.
Now we’re looking for a creative and ambitious social media & digital marketing officer to help us grow our digital presence and build deeper connections with our community.

REQUIREMENTS- MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Proven experience growing social channels for a brand, creator or organisation
  • Strong copywriting skills with a knack for writing scroll-stopping posts
  • Confident using design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or similar) with a good eye for visuals
  • Experience with social video editing (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
  • Email marketing know-how (Mailchimp or similar)
  • Organised, proactive and results-driven

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • SEO and Google Analytics knowledge
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS (ideal but not essential)
  • Interest in spirituality, meditation or wellbeing
  • Ability to read Gurmukhi & understand / speak Punjabi
  • Experience building online communities or running crowdfunding campaigns

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating, testing and refining content every day. You’ll be cutting videos into engaging clips, crafting posts that spark conversations, managing campaigns that drive impact, and building a vibrant online community.
You’ll report directly to our Director of Operations and work closely with our founder, Satpal Singh, ensuring Nanak Naam’s mission and voice shine through in everything we share.

Responsibilities- Content & Social Media

  • Create engaging, platform-native posts across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and more
  • Repurpose longform content (talks, podcasts, courses) into short, shareable clips
  • Research trends and test new formats to maximise reach and engagement
  • Build community through comments, DMs and collaborations
  • Develop creative campaigns that grow our following and inspire action (sign-ups, donations, shares)
