SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR, ABBIE DELOACH FOUNDATION (PART-TIME/REMOTE)

Role:
Responsible for developing and maintaining a vibrant online presence on various social media platforms. The role involves creating content that engages viewers to maintain and increase Foundation’s followers / viewership.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media to include Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to: (a) Increase Foundation’s visibility, (b) Promote Foundation’s philanthropy, (c) Connect with relevant for-profit and non-profit groups/organizations and prominent community individuals, (d) Increase giving / donations
  • Maintain and update monthly social media calendar
  • Write weekly posts and share across all social media platforms
  • Create and design monthly newsletter
  • Create and post press releases and other various content pieces for key events
  • Pitch key annual events to relevant media outlets
  • Coordinate media outlet coverage at Annual Scholarship Luncheon
  • Promote Annual Scholarship Luncheon
  • Promote True Blue 5K / Abbie’s Adventure Race and solicit registration
  • Promote Hands-Free for Abbie Campaign for safe driving awareness month
  • Update website content
  • Assist with planning and execution of Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Qualifications:

  • Deep commitment to the mission.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Online Presence and Proficiency with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn)
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Google Workspace to include Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Calendar.
  • Working knowledge of Constant Contact and desired familiarity with WordPress.
  • Able to work flexible schedule and prioritize multiple projects at once.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $2,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
