We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. We are a Digital Safeguarding company and this internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in public relations and social media management. The ideal candidate will assist in developing engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and enhancing our online presence. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital marketing and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. We would love to have a candidate that would enjoy the journey of a start up company. This would be suitable for someone studying or looking for a topic for their dissertation. We are looking for a very flexible candidate that we can give experience to in return for the chance to come onboard in a Graduate roll in our a start up.

EXPERIENCE

• A background or coursework in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, IT or drive and passion to enter this field.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is advantageous.
• Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity in content creation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
• A genuine interest in current trends in social media and digital marketing is essential. This internship provides an invaluable opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to meaningful projects that impact our brand’s visibility and engagement online.

• Assist in creating and curating compelling content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages, responding promptly to engage with our audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies that align with overall business goals.
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content creation and strategy.
• Help track and analyse social media performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Support the planning and execution of online events or promotions aimed at increasing brand awareness.
