Social Media Intern (Long-term internship) The Social Media Intern will support the Social Media Manager and the team in building strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximize the House’s social media presence across the platforms in Japan, reinforce the brand equity, and engage the local audiences. The role will support their day-to-day activities of working with the platforms, agency partners, the Corporate teams and the three divisions (Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry), both in Japan and globally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting the Social Media Manager and the team on the day-to-day operational tasks for X and LINE. Translating key documents and communications between Japanese and English in writing. Ensuring the coordination of the corporate instance with the three divisions locally, including overseeing publishing tools and calendars when necessary, with meticulous attention to detail. Tracking the evolution of local content consumption and compiling best practice examples. Occasional administrative help with scheduling, travel and room bookings. Organizing the compilation of regular reporting on social media initiatives. PROFILE: The Social Media Intern must demonstrate a clear understanding and interest in major platforms such as X and LINE. Demonstrates a strong work ethic, team spirit and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must, as are excellent communication skills. Ability to interpret, prioritize, and deliver actions with sharp attention to detail. Ambition to work within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the luxury sector is an added benefit. Interest in the Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty and Watches & Fine Jewelry industries. Degree level education. Native-level Japanese proficiency is required. Advance English skills are a plus. Ability to work at least three days per week is required.
