The Clay Cottage Studio is a creative pottery studio in Pembroke Pines, FL where guests walk in to paint premade pottery, hand-build with clay, or try glass fusion projects. Our studio is a colorful, hands-on space where people of all ages create art they can take home—from mugs and vases to planters, figurines, and more. We’re looking for someone to help capture our personality online and bring more people through our doors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating engaging content, has an eye for visual storytelling, and understands how to grow a local brand’s presence online.
You will be responsible for filming, photographing, editing, and managing all social media content for our studio. The goal is to showcase our unique atmosphere, highlight customer experiences, and drive new customers to visit. Most of the content creation will take place in our studio, while posting, scheduling, and managing platforms can be done remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong photography and video editing skills (reels, short-form content especially).
  • Knowledge of social media trends, especially in the creative/DIY/art niche.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and think outside the box.
  • Experience with ad creation and campaign tracking a plus.
  • Must have a creative eye and genuine interest in art, crafts, or DIY culture.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, film, and edit engaging content (reels, videos, photos, stories, slides, posts) that reflect our brand’s creative personality.
  • Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) including posting schedules, captions, and engagement.
  • Build and execute marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic into the studio.
  • Run paid advertising campaigns (Facebook/Instagram ads) with a focus on local reach.
  • Capture customer experiences, workshops, and events to highlight on social platforms.
  • Analyze performance of posts and adjust strategies for better results.
  • Collaborate with studio management to brainstorm creative ideas that align with our goals.
